It has been a very busy first session of GB this year for our Senior section.  The Senior girls have worked extremely hard in craft work – starting off with learning decoupage skills as part of their badge work.  They practiced decorating a desk tidy first, before decoupaging a clothes hanger in their own style.

Each night we have been studying the Scriptures using this years GB teaching guide, entitled “Jesus on every page”.  We praise God that one of our girls has come to know the Lord as her Saviour during this term at GB and are greatly encouraged by this.

Crafts continued with requests from Trinity Tots, Proclaim Bus Pass Dinner and also Paul and Lorraine to make take home gifts for their Christmas events.  The girls have worked so hard serving others making Christmas baubles, candy cane gifts and tealight and chocolate boxes.

The girls have been allowed some time off from their hard work!  We attended and thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Tree Festival at St Colmanells – and were served juice and tray bakes by the ladies of the church.  We also had a “Onesie” night for our Christmas party where we had food, games and made hot chocolate reindeers’.

Here’s a selection of pictures taken at these events – click on the photos to enlarge.
