Often, people can find themselves in difficult circumstances through no fault of their own, perhaps through unemployment, sickness, family crisis, bereavement or domestic abuse. The Ahoghill Foodbank will support families and individuals at times when they are most in need by providing additional essential items.
Supported by members of the different churches in the Ahoghill village, the Foodbank operates from Brookside Presbyterian Church and is open to everyone in the community of no or any faith.
All requests for support will be dealt with respectfully and confidentially.
If you need assistance from the Foodbank, please call 07826302975.
If you would like to help by donating some items – here are some suitable suggestions:
Cereal, Pasta, Rice, Noodles, Soup (tinned or packet), Pasta sauce (jars), Tinned meat or fish, Tinned vegetables, Tinned fruit, Rice pudding (tinned), Custard (tinned), Jam, Biscuits or snack bars, Juice, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Toiletries.
All items can be left in the Minister’s Room at Trinity where they will be transferred to Brookside for onward distribution.
Please pray for this initiative in our village as God’s love is demonstrated in a very practical way to those in need within our local community.
